ABOUT DR. GAURAV BHARDWAJ
With 17 years of clinical, managerial and teaching experience behind him, Dr Bhardwaj (Sports & Joint replacement surgeon) has held significant positions across reputed hospitals in Britain and India. Apart from being full time faculty at Saket city Hospital, he is also associated with the North Middlesex University Hospital in London. He has practiced Orthopedic surgery as consultant and specialist in a university hospital in London after his training as fellow and registrar there. Before settling in London in 2004, Dr Bhardwaj had worked in famous hospitals like Pilgrim Hospital at Boston, Lincoln County Hospital and in Nottinghamshire. His expertise backed by his latest and modern overseas training includes Complex and revision joint replacements and arthroscopic procedures on Knee, shoulder, elbow and hips along with complex trauma.
After completing his MBBS where he topped the university in Surgery, Dr Bhardwaj (Sports & Joint replacement surgeon) completed his MS and senior residency in Orthopaedics and Trauma from India. After this he moved to UK and first completed his MCh in Orthopedics at Royal Liverpool Hospital from world renowned University of Liverpool. He is an Associate Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and a Member of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr Bhardwaj (Sports & Joint replacement surgeon) has successfully completed the prestigious fellowship in Orthopedics at Intercollegiate Royal College of Surgeons. His scientific papers have been published in numerous national and international journals. To his credit, he also has many scientific presentations showcasing his work on national and international forums and successfully undertaken various research and clinical audit projects. Dr Bhardwaj has been invited as an international faculty and as chairperson to chair scientific sessions. He has also conducted surgical workshops for young surgeons.
Dr Bhardwaj (Sports & Joint replacement surgeon) is credited with being among firsts in India performing several sports and shoulder surgeries within one year of working in India. Dr Gaurav Bhardwaj had established the Institute of Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement at Max Smart Superspeciality Hospital Saket and took it to great heights after his direct move from London in 2013. Now Dr Bhardwaj and his team has moved to PSRI Multi Speciality Hospital aschief of Sports & Joint replacement surgeon to start a new venture. This reinforces his commitment to providing super specialty health care, bringing on board the most advanced in sports and joint replacements particularly in shoulder and knee.
